It is hard to put into words just how sad and frustrating it is to think of a fellow, in this great country our forefathers fought and died for, dying because he could not afford insurance or the cost of a routine dental procedure or medication…but this is the state we are in in 2011. Folks are unemployed and uninsured, and there does not seem to be a whole bunch of relief coming down the pipeline.

Obviously, the topic of our discussion is a bit different, and I am not going to directly compare this tragic episode with the man in Ohio to a situation involving struggling home owners. But, that being said, there is a connection – and as someone who has helped nearly 12,000 families to make better real estate decisions over the years, I think it important to point this out.
